We all have questions and if it’s your first time visiting Grill-n-Chill you might want a little help in understanding what to expect. Hopefully the question and answers below should help, but if you do come unstuck just drop us an email or ask over on our Facebook page.

What is the date of Grill-n-Chill?

Dates for our 2017 show are 15th – 17th September.

Do I need to bring food to the event?

There will be caters on site, but feel free to grill your own, but no open fires.

Can I use a barbecue?

Yes, provided it is off-the-ground and does not inconvenience other campers, but we may impose a sausage tax…

Are fires allowed?

No, ground fires are allowed. This is a safety/insurance issue.

Are fireworks permitted?

No! To eliminate the risk of tents and vans being set alight by fireworks they are banned from this site as are Chinese lanterns. Anyone found with or using fireworks will be removed from site without discussion or refund of entrance fees.

I have booked in advance but my tickets have not arrived?

Please email us directly and we’ll try to deal with any issues as best we can.

Can I book an area to be reserved for my car club to camp in?

Club camping plots are available, but must be booked in advance. Please see our Camping page.

Can I bring my dog or other pets?

Yes, you may bring your pets, provided they are not dangerous or poisonous and can be housed within your camping unit. Pets should be kept under control at all times (e.g. dogs on a lead). Any mess made by your pet must be cleaned up by you.

Can I camp with my friends?

Of cause you can, but the only way to guarantee that you will park/camp with your friends is to turn up together. If you are with a club, then it’s a good idea to book yourselves into Club Camping, therefore ensuring you will all be in the same area. Club Camping MUST be pre-booked.

Is there a speed limit on the site?

Yes, 5 MPH speed limit everywhere on site.

What time are the gates open?

Gates will be open Friday Midday – 10pm, Saturday 9am – 9pm and Sunday 9am – 4pm

How do I enter the Show & Shine competition?

Our Show-n-Shine will run on the Sunday of the show. No need to pre-book, just roll up with your ride to the Show-n-Shine area which should be clearly marked on site. It normally fills up pretty quick so we’d advise getting in early. Please make sure that you register your ride at our information desk in the show arena where you will be asked to complete a short form and then given a number card to place inside your windscreen. No number means your ride will not be judged.
