This weekend sees Paintscrapers attending the Apex Festival at Lydden Hill race circuit in Kent, where you’ll be able to buy tickets directly for only £10 each.

Whether your passion is old aircooled volkswagens or more modern, retro, performance VAG watercooled motors The Apex Festival is the place to be over the weekend of 19-20 May. This is a unique weekend festival where you can show your car, and be part of the on track action!

Grill-n-Chill returns

The decision has been made, after all the fun everybody had last year at our first event we couldn’t let you go without another chance to have a laid-back weekend. This year Grill-n-Chill returns with the same format as last, but at a different venue, The Hop Farm Family Park.
So keep the weekend of the 21st-23rd September clear, it’s going to be a chill’d one… more details to follow.

The whole Grill-n-Chill team would like to thank all those that made the effort to display their rides in the show and shine arena. We were lucky to have such a varied selection on vehicles, most of which are daily drivers too, both air cooled and water cooled VW’s plus a nice collection of Hot Rods too.

We had a collection of beautiful trophies, all designed and produced by our very on glass master Jon, to hand out for the Top Ten, but judging was difficult due to the high quality and took far longer then we thought it would. Below is the list of winners and pictures will follow very soon.

Crazy Udder Milkshakes

Those of you that have attended any shows at Santa Pod, and various other locations, over the last few years will need no introduction to Crazy Udder. Probably the best milkshake in the world and that’s not an understatement.

We’re really pleased to announce that the Crazy Udder team are going to be joining us at Grill-n-Chill this year. Brining along their very special, traditionally made, Milkshakes and Real Fruit Smoothies. All of their Milkshakes are individually made using milk and vanilla ice cream with over 25 flavours to choose from. Such as;

Strawberry, Banana & Chocolate, plus some more unusual ones such as Maple syrup, Lime, Irish Cream & Butterscotch. They also use a number of confectionary items in their milkshakes including Maltesers, Crunchie & Aero Mint.

The Crazy Udder Real Fruit Smoothies only whole pieces of fruits with a special fruit juice blend to create a wonderfully thick and refreshing alternative and are probably the healthiest & tastiest smoothies around.

Make no mistake, once you’ve tried one no ‘udder’ milkshake will do…

Hi all,

we’ve had a few people asking how much it will cost to get into Grill-n-Chill? Well the tickets are priced at only £5 each, children going free, with the added bonus of FREE camping if you book your tickets in advance! How cheap is that ;o)

You can either come meet us at one of the show’s we’ll be attending throughout the year(we’re regular ‘dubber’s like you) or if you use PayPal you can send your hard earnt pennies over to ‘ payments@grill-n-chill.co.uk ’ Other payment options will be added to the site soon.
